Terms and Conditions

1. Promotion Applicability

Promotions are valid only during the stated promotion period and at participating outlets only. Promotions are subject to stock availability, redemption capacity, outlet participation, operating hours, and operational constraints.

2. Redemption Basis

Promotions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated. Fulfilment is subject to availability, outlet capacity, merchant operations, and any redemption limits stated in the promotion listing. No guarantee of continuous availability is implied.

3. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing the relevant promotion details, including validity period, participating outlets, redemption mechanics, exclusions, minimum spend requirements, booking requirements, and any other applicable restrictions before redeeming or attempting to redeem a promotion.

4. Redemption Verification

Customers may be required to present valid proof of eligibility, redemption confirmation, voucher details, QR code, account information, identification, payment confirmation, or any other verification reasonably required by the Merchant or ShopNJoy before redemption or fulfilment of a promotion.

5. Combination with Other Offers

Promotions are not valid in conjunction with other discounts, vouchers, cashback, rebates, loyalty programmes, memberships, privileges, or other promotional offers unless expressly stated in the relevant promotion listing.

6. Redemption Limits

Unless otherwise stated in the relevant promotion listing, each promotion may be redeemed only once per customer, account, household, device, payment method, transaction, or such other limit as may be specified by the Merchant or ShopNJoy. Any redemption that exceeds the applicable limit may be refused, cancelled, reversed, or deemed invalid.

7. Non-Transferability and No Cash Exchange

Promotions are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not exchangeable for cash, credit, vouchers, or any other form of consideration unless otherwise specified.

8. Taxes, Service Charges, and Additional Fees

Unless expressly stated otherwise in the relevant promotion listing, prices, discounts, savings, and promotional benefits exclude applicable taxes, service charges, delivery fees, booking fees, processing fees, public holiday surcharges, peak period surcharges, and any other charges imposed by the Merchant.

9. Merchant-Specific Terms

Additional merchant-specific terms may apply, including but not limited to booking requirements, blackout dates, outlet restrictions, dine-in or takeaway limitations, service charges, minimum spend requirements, redemption caps, and cancellation policies. Customers should review the relevant promotion listing and any merchant-specific terms before redemption.

10. Fraud, Abuse, and Misuse

ShopNJoy and the Merchant reserve the right to refuse, suspend, cancel, invalidate, or reverse any redemption, transaction, participation, account activity, or promotional benefit where fraud, abuse, misuse, manipulation, unauthorised activity, suspicious conduct, or any breach of these Promotion Terms & Conditions is suspected or identified.

11. Customer Conduct

Merchants reserve the right to refuse redemption, service, entry, booking, fulfilment, or participation where a customer engages in abusive, threatening, unlawful, disruptive, fraudulent, inappropriate, or otherwise unacceptable conduct, or fails to comply with applicable merchant policies, house rules, or operational requirements.

12. Visual Representation

Images, illustrations, videos, and other promotional materials are for illustrative and reference purposes only. Actual products, services, packaging, presentation, portions, colours, and experiences may vary.

13. Merchant Responsibility

All products and services offered under a promotion are provided solely by the relevant Merchant. The Merchant is responsible for fulfilment, quality, safety, availability, legality, pricing accuracy, service standards, customer experience, and any merchant-specific terms that apply.

14. ShopNJoy's Role

ShopNJoy Pte Ltd and the ShopNJoy platform ("ShopNJoy") act as a marketing, advertising, and promotional platform. ShopNJoy is not the seller, supplier, manufacturer, service provider, or merchant of the products or services offered under any promotion, unless expressly stated otherwise.

15. Information Accuracy

Promotion information is provided in good faith based on information made available by the Merchant and is accurate at the time of publication. Customers are encouraged to check the relevant promotion listing and, where necessary, confirm details with the Merchant before redemption.

16. Amendments, Suspension, or Withdrawal

The Merchant may amend, suspend, substitute, withdraw, or terminate a promotion where necessary, including due to stock limitations, operational constraints, outlet changes, system issues, force majeure events, or other circumstances, to the extent permitted by applicable law. ShopNJoy may update promotion details on the platform where notified by the Merchant or where corrections are required.

17. Errors and Corrections

The Merchant and/or ShopNJoy reserve the right to correct typographical, pricing, clerical, display, system, technical, or administrative errors without prior notice. Where an error materially affects a promotion, reasonable efforts will be made to update the relevant promotion details.

18. Platform and Technical Matters

ShopNJoy will make reasonable efforts to maintain promotion visibility and access on the platform. However, ShopNJoy shall not be responsible for technical disruptions, system downtime, connectivity issues, app errors, software defects, third-party service interruptions, or other technical issues that may affect promotion visibility, access, availability, or redemption, except where required by applicable law.

19. Force Majeure

Neither the Merchant nor ShopNJoy shall be liable for any delay, suspension, modification, interruption, cancellation, or failure to fulfil any promotion arising from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, governmental actions, labour disputes, utility failures, telecommunications failures, system outages, supply chain disruptions, transportation disruptions, civil unrest, or other unforeseen events.

20. Disputes, Complaints, and Refunds

Any disputes, claims, refunds, complaints, or issues relating to merchant-provided products or services should be raised directly with the relevant Merchant. ShopNJoy may, at its discretion, assist in facilitating communication between the customer and the Merchant, but is not responsible for adjudicating or resolving disputes relating to merchant-provided products or services.

21. No Warranty on Merchant Offerings

ShopNJoy makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding merchant offerings, including but not limited to quality, availability, suitability, safety, merchantability, fitness for purpose, accuracy, legality, or compliance with customer expectations.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ShopNJoy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other loss, damage, injury, delay, expense, or inconvenience arising from or related to merchant-provided products, services, fulfilment, availability, quality, customer experience, promotion participation, redemption attempts, or promotion availability.

Nothing in these Promotion Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

23. Privacy and Personal Data

Any personal data collected, processed, disclosed, or used in connection with a promotion shall be handled in accordance with ShopNJoy's Privacy Policy and any applicable merchant privacy notices, subject to applicable data protection laws.

24. Order of Precedence

In the event of any inconsistency, the following order shall apply unless otherwise stated:

1. Promotion-specific terms stated in the relevant promotion listing;
2. These Promotion Terms & Conditions; and
3. ShopNJoy's general platform terms, where applicable.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Promotion Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, unenforceable, or void by a court or competent authority, such provision shall be deemed severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Promotion Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Promotion Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

27. Additional Terms

Additional terms may apply to specific promotions as published separately. Customers should review individual promotion details carefully before redemption.

28. Acceptance

By participating in, accessing, claiming, or attempting to redeem any promotion featured on the ShopNJoy platform, customers are deemed to have accepted these Promotion Terms & Conditions and any applicable promotion-specific or merchant-specific terms.
